Thanks to everyone who attended the rally and court solidarity on October 8! Enough supporters showed up that the court staff agreed to switch to a larger courtroom. Not only that, but even in the larger room, we took up enough space that the customary sad-looking undercover investigators needed to stand the entire time.

The RNC 8 have finally been given their next court date: Wednesday, August 19 at 9am in room 1040 of the Ramsey County Courthouse in St. Paul. Due to a change in the Judge’s schedule, the hearing has been postponed. Therefore, the planned rally is also no longer going forward on August 19th.

Near the end of March, Judge Teresa Warner proclaimed her ruling on the prosecution’s problematic proposed protective order, which was one of the main topics of last month’s proceedings. The ruling is about as favorable as could be expected, with the main point being that the eight will be able to receive their own copies [...]
At last week’s scheduling hearing, each of the RNC 8 and/or their lawyers met separately with Judge Teresa Warner. Most though not all of the proceedings were off the record. Now that Judge Rosas has recused himself, the RNC 8 have been assigned a new judge - Judge Teresa R. Warner.
The eight also have a scheduling hearing coming up on Wednesday, February 11 at the Ramsey County Courthouse.
