Common Action Seattle invites you to a screening of “Terrorizing Dissent,” a film documenting the criminalization of dissent at the Republican National Convention in Saint Paul during September 2008.
The film features unforgettable historical footage, interviews with the RNC 8 protest organizers who’re now facing conspiracy charges, and footage from more than 40 cameras and journalists on the streets during the convention.
See what really happened, see who ordered police violence and see how
ordinary people were brutalized by riot cops.
Following the film, stay for a Q & A session with RNC 8 member Luce Guillen-Givins on anarchist organizing, arrestee and prisoner support work and much more.
