As of February 1st, Friends of the RNC 8 has our own office space in south Minneapolis!  We’re proud to be housed in Walker Community Church, across from the offices of Communities United Against Police Brutality.  At the corner of 31st Street and 16th Avenue S., Walker has been a landmark in the Powderhorn neighborhood and committed to social change for 100 years.  Thanks to Walker for offering their space, and for continuously opening up their building for radical and progressive events like last month’s Defend the RNC 8 town hall meeting.

If you’d like to meet someone from Friends of the RNC 8 at the new space to talk about how you can plug in (or maybe you have some RNC memorabilia to contribute to the decor?), email us at info@rnc8.org to make an appointment. We’re also looking for office supplies, especially large envelopes, stamps and other mailing supplies, and computer equipment.
