The Anti-Racist Action Network’s Statement of Solidarity with those Facing Legal Repression in Connection with the Republican National Convention

The Anti-Racist Action Network stands in full solidarity with all those arrested at the RNC protests, regardless of the state allegations against them. In particular, we wish to make our support known for the RNC 8

Luce Guillen-Givins
Max Specktor
Nathanael Secor
Eryn Trimmer
Monica Bicking
Erik Oseland
Robert Czernik
Garrett Fitzgerald

and the Texas 2:
Bradley Crowder
David Mcckay

Hundreds of others also face charges.

We also oppose the political use of the grand juries and express our solidarity with the six people known to date to facing grand jury subpoenas relating to the RNC investigations. Politically motivated grand juries have been fought and defeated before. Our best strategy is for us to all stand together and to take the practical steps necessary to make this unity possible.

We have the backs of those arrested, just as we know that those targeted would have ours.

Yours Truly,
The Anti-Racist Action Network:
