Currently, the legal expenses are estimated at $250,000 for the RNC 8. Contributions of all sizes are greatly  appreciated. 

If you would like to support the RNC 8 with a donation: 
Communities United Against Police Brutality is collecting donations for the RNC 8 Legal Defense Fund. Donations will help cover the legal fees and other expenses related to the trial.  You can donate via PayPal:  

If you’d like to donate in the form of a check, there are 2 options.

If it is under $100 or you are not going to take a deduction for your contribution: Make the check out to “CUAPB” and put “RNC 8” in the memo.

If you plan to donate more than $100 and would like your donation to be tax deductible, make your check payable instead to “National Lawyers Guild Foundation” (not CUAPB) and note “RNC 8” in the memo area.  Mail your check to the same address (above).

To check in on upcoming benefits for the RNC 8, check out the fundraisers page. This will be updated with all upcoming events that we know about.

If you are planning a benefit or hear about a fundraiser, please send us an email so we can post the event on the RNC8.org website.

Please include as much of this information as you have:

• Title of event
• Type of event (music, dinner, etc…)
• If there is a performance, any info about the performer(s)
• Venue
• Location (including street address, city, State- so we can link up a map) 
• Any links (to the musician performing, to the venue’s site, etc…)
• A short blurb (press release style)
• An email address contact for more information (if possible).  *Posted address will be encoded.*
• Anything else that seems helpful to include!

The information can be a bit rough,  we’ll edit it.  But it’s better to have too much information than not enough.
